DRRS Trainer / JPME Certified Instructor
Job description:
Chitra is seeking a qualified Trainer/Instructor to fulfill the following roles and responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver DRRS training to users of the fielded DRRS system.
- Teach:
- 3-Day DRRS Basic User Course
- 3-Day DRRS Advanced / Operational Employment (OE) Course
- Senior Leadership Seminars / Executive Presentations
- Conduct training:
- In-resident at JDTC (Fort Eustis, VA)
- Via Mobile Training Teams (CONUS and OCONUS)
- Through self-study, one-on-one, instructor-led, hands-on, and computer-based formats.
- Update and administer practical exercises (PEs).
- Keep course curricula and programs of instruction current.
- Assist with:
- Training plans
- Training schedules
- Student tracking and documentation
- Class administration through JDTC learning management systems.
Required Knowledge & Experience
The instructor should possess:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with:
- Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
- DoD readiness reporting policies
- Supporting readiness systems such as:
- JTIMS
- JTT
- JLLIS
- Understanding of trainees’ operational environments and military culture.
- Joint educational experience with the current DRRS Operational Employment course.
- Understanding of interdependencies between DRRS and related systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- JPME Instructor Certification.
- Graduate degree in:
- Adult Education, or
- National Security (desirable).
- Prior service in a Joint Command (desirable).
Senior JPME Certified Instructor
- More than 10 years of experience.
- MA/MS degree.
- Ability to work independently on mission-critical efforts.
- May lead or supervise junior staff.
Journeyman JPME Certified Instructor
- 3–10 years of experience.
- BA/BS or MA/MS degree.
- Performs duties independently.
Security Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance (NACLC within 5 years/in-scope).
- Must complete required security, IA, OPSEC, and AT Level I training.
- Passport required due to OCONUS travel requirements.
Work location is on-site at Fort. Eustis, VA
