Chitra Selected to Provide Air and Missile Defense Planning to the Joint Staff (JS) J5 Deputy Directorate for Strategic Stability (DDStS)

Chitra was awarded a contract to support the JS in reviewing, developing, and integrating air and missile defense capabilities and effects into global Joint planning, strategy, and policy. The JS, J-5, DDStS provides the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), Vice Chairman (VCJCS), Director of the Joint Staff (DJS), Directory of Strategy, Plans, and Policy (DJ5) ideas, options, and recommendations on strategy, strategic plans, policy, and risk within the realm of missile defense policy necessary to create strategic stability. Chitra, who has extensive experience in developing and integrating strategies, plans, and policies for Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, offers the necessary expertise to ensure Joint, Service and Combatant Command (CCMD) strategy, plans, policy, and capabilities development and integration within the air and missile defense functionality.
